Amazing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" Video

i batch-downloaded a bunch of the beatless music videos and put'em on my ipod.
i was shocked at how good this video was when i came across it.
it's sweet to come across a sweet video for a sweet song you love.

Favorite British Rap Songs

i definitely haven't heard that much rap from england, mostly because a lot of the times the accent just doesn't sound right to me and i can't get into it.  but there are definitely exceptions.

here are three tracks that i've loved in the past.

fix up, look up - dizzee rascal

love the drums on this one, they get me hyped every time.  i'm not that big of a fan of dizzee rascal in general though.

jason waste - sway

insane insane storytelling, and it's hilarious.  i don't even know what to quote or summarize.  just take a listen, my mind was lowkey blown when i first heard it.  i need to check out more stuff by this dude.

dry your eyes - the streets

nice, soft, soothing beat & vocals & hook.  the song's about getting dumped.
from the hook: "dry your eyes, mate / i know you want to make her see how much this pain hurts / but you've got to walk away now / it's over~"
i fux with The Streets; "a grand don't come for free" was a pretty good album.  "fit but you know it" is another gem off the album--he raps comically about how a girl knows that she looks real fit.
