listening to his music yesterday, i randomly remembered that cool calm pete was the man who got me into wearing black-framed glasses in the first place, huge no homo. he's a korean-american rapper/producer signed to the well-known indie label, definitive jux (home to other great underground rappers such as murs, cage, aesop rock, del the funkee homosapien, etc). one day many years ago, i was flipping through XXL and saw this korean dude being featured on a page as an up-and-comer. and i knew had to get the glasses...
